Virginia Snowstorm 2009

Most of Virginia, and the mid-eastern coast of the US, was hit with a blizzard-like storm December 18-19, 2009.  The storm dropped a large amount of snow for the area in a short period of time.  Some areas receiving as much as 26 inches.  I took a few pictures of the areas around the house, and I am posting them to share the view of this storm.

Virginia Snowstorm 2010

Just a few weeks after the snow in the storm from above, the entire eastern seaboard of the US was hit with almost two full weeks of snow.  From the snow above in December, and the two big storms in February 2010, that were at near blizzard conditions, this area received almost 60 inches of snow.  Some areas did pass 60 inches as weather records were set with this snow fall.  Below are some photos that were taken around the house after one of the February storms.
